Rise360 Courses: Southwire

THE NEED

Southwire lacked a formal onboarding program for new Commercial employees to introduce foundational product concepts. This gap made it difficult for sales teams to accurately identify and recommend products aligned with customer needs. This resulted in missed sales opportunities and revenue for the company.

DELIVERABLE

Carolyn designed and developed a series of 17 courses along with a 50‑question certification exam designed to ensure both relevance and reliability. Successful completion results in an official program certificate. Courses integrate the use of development tools such as Rise360, Vyond, Canva, and Adobe products.

PROCESS

Carolyn conducted a comprehensive gap analysis with Commercial leadership and Product Engineering to determine the essential categories of foundational product knowledge.

Based on these findings, she developed a certification program—the Skillswire Product Mastery Program: Foundational Level.

The program consists of 17 courses covering topics such as:

-wire and cable construction

-low, medium, and high voltage cable

-electrical codes and standards

-and more...

Rise360 Courses: Floor & Decor

THE NEED

Floor & Decor, a major retailer specializing in tile, stone, and decorative products, wanted to create a new blended learning onboarding program for Sales Associates in its box‑retail stores.

A fresh analysis and new program was required to ensure accurate product information, alignment with current company branding, and seamless onboarding.

DELIVERABLE

Carolyn designed and developed 11 onboarding courses focused on sales processes and product knowledge for Sales Associates.

Courses incorporated video and job aids created with Vyond, Camtasia, and Canva.

Floor & Decor branding was integrated throughout to ensure authenticity and consistency. Each course included interactive activities, video, Knowledge Checks, and a final exam.

PROCESS

Existing training materials were thoroughly reviewed for accuracy, and interviews were conducted with corporate employees to identify content gaps. New course outlines were developed and shared with stakeholders for feedback and approval before production began.

RESULTS

The eLearning courses consistently received 5/5 learner satisfaction ratings. Interviews with box‑retail store managers confirmed that the new training represented a major improvement in both content quality and overall design.

A decrease in onboarding time was also noted by managers and improved employee retention and satisfaction.

360Course: Tesla

THE NEED

Tesla was experiencing challenges with customers calling Sales Centers with Service‑related questions. These calls disrupted Sales teams’ workflows, and many team members did not have the information needed to address service inquiries.

DELIVERABLE

A Rise360 course incorporated scenario‑based learning and featured hypothetical customer calls representing typical service requests. Animated figures were included to enhance engagement and maintain thematic consistency across the scenarios.

PROCESS

Working with leadership, it was determined that an eLearning course would help Sales teams better understand common service‑related questions customers ask when calling in, as well as how to appropriately handle or redirect each request. The goal was to equip Sales employees with the knowledge and confidence to manage inquiries within their scope and efficiently route others to the correct department.

RESULTS

Employees rated the course as 95 percent useful in terms of the content provided. Additionally, the course design received approval ratings in the ninetieth percentile, reflecting strong employee satisfaction with both the instructional approach and visual presentation.
